ESSLIL School of Social Sciences
Preparing for careers and management in human, solidarity and societal transformations professions is one of the objectives of the School of Social Sciences of the Catholic University of Lille.
These professions are now being tested by climate, environmental, social and economic emergencies, which, linked together, disrupt individual and collective interactions and behaviors, as well as public policies. Therefore, considering the social field exclusively is no longer enough. Students must be trained and prepared for all dimensions associated with societal transformations.
Our university school therefore has 4 distinct streams which aim to train in the different professions of social work, sociology of health and medico-social management as well as societal transformations. We train our students for bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, but also state diplomas. Finally, ESSLIL is fortunate to have a research center among its teams.

As a student at ESSLIL, you have access to many services with your student card. You can enjoy our sandwich shops and university restaurants for lunch, subscribe to the gym located near your establishment, consult doctors, psychologists and gynecologists at the Polyvalent University Health Center, or get help with your administrative, personal, scholarship procedures, etc. from our social service.
