These diagrams allow you to visualize how to properly remove a tick in the event of a bite. Lyme disease is a serious disease transmitted by ticks that are themselves infected. They inoculate the bacteria into humans by biting them to feed on their blood. The faster you act in the event of a bite, the lower the risk of transmitting the disease.

Do not disinfect with ether (or other disinfectant...) before removing the tick.
Place the tick remover under the tick, gradually turn until the tick is removed.
Or place tweezers on the tick's head, pull until the tick is removed.
Do not kill the tick with your bare hands, it could bite you again.
Disinfect the wound with an antiseptic.
Monitor the wound for 30 days, for signs such as:

Red circle at the site of the bite (also called erythema migrans).
Flu-like condition, unusual fatigue.
Facial paralysis… should make you consult as soon as possible to start treatment.
